My good friend and fellow photographer, Luis McCormick, who has a photo design and printing business, just made me the most wonderful photo album of my recent photos and put it on a CD. When you open the CD, it actually looks like it is a book, with your name on the book cover. My book cover says, of course, Photography by Jill Flyer. When you turn to the first page (via your mouse) there are thumbnails of the photos and page numbers. There are indices, front and back to the contents (and also page markers that can be inserted). You turn the pages (again with a drag of the mouse) and it really appears that you are turning pages in a book. My book is set up so that there are images on both sides of the page, but it can be set up differently. It is MAGNIFICENT!!!!
I will use it to show my most recent work to gallery owners, but it would also make a great and unique gift to give people a CD album book of family photos. THINK BIRTHDAYS, HOLIDAYS, ETC.!!
