  • Let's Learn French
    Learn French the easy way! Gone are the days of studying grammar, grammar, and more grammar. Nowadays, there are more fun ways, using videos, cartoon, simple dialogues and games. For those of you who speak or are studying another Romance language, you will be surprised at how easy it is, as the basic grammatic constructions are the same and many words share the same root. The cost is $425 pesos per month (2 classes/week), plus a $20 peso materials fee. No book is needed. The classes are for beginners or advanced beginners or people who have not used their French in awhile. Minimum of 5 students needed to form a class. If you are unsure of your level or want more information, contact me at: fotoflyer2003@yahoo.com. The classes are ongoing, i.e., they will not start at the beginning each month but will continue forward. However, if you want a "quickie" French for Travelers, to jumpstart you into some easy phrases, we can arrange for private lessons @ $150 pesos per hour and a half class, or semi-private at $125 per person.

    • Have tri-pod, will travel.  So many people hire good writers and designers to do their websites and blogs, but don't think about taking quality photos to use with their quality websites.  So, for all you website and blog designers, contact me.  I will deliver interesting, attractive and even fascinating  photos to complement your sites.  I will come to the site and give you a free estimate of what it will cost, time wise and money wise to use my services.  Discounts given for multiple users.
    • Advertisements. Similarly, good photos enhance an ad; bad photos detract from the product or ambiance of an environment (for example, a restaurant, or a house for sale).  Contact me for a free estimate of cost.

    • Photo tours.  Take a day with me around the Lake Chapala or into Guadalajara, Tonala or Tlaquepaque.  Along with sightseeing, we will work on taking interesting photos and learning about camera techniques all at the same time.  I have one, two, three and week-long photo tours.  Check out all the info, prices, itineraries at www.mexploration.net.

    • Photo seminars.  Look for notices on this site for dates and times of photo seminars.

    • Photo classes (private or group).  Learn to shoot smarter and take more innovative photos.  Look for notices on this site for dates and times of photo classes.  Private classes are always available: 

      •  How to operate your digital (or film) camera.  I will read your crazy brochure (all digital camera brochures are crazy and almost indecipherable!) and boil down the essentials for you

         

      • How to operate your camera manually.  There is much, much more to operating a camera manually than just turning the dial to "M".  Learn about apertures and shutter speeds and how to use your in-camera light meter in conjunction with them.

         

      • Digital manipulations with Photoshop.  What you can do with Photoshop to make your photos better and more interesting and definitely artistic.

      • Handpainting black and white photos.  A creative way to "re-cycle" artistically some of your favorite black and white photos.
